I found this chair at a thrift store and painted it white. Then I recovered the chair pad with the pillow case from the Pottery Barn sheet set.
I hope you all enjoyed the tour of Taylor's room. Now I need to get working on a message board for little sis Hannah. The projects never seem to end!!
Oh, by the way, her room never looks like this. I cleaned it and made her bed before taking pictures. Usually there are clothes all over the floor and she hardly ever makes her bed. At least I have photos of how nice it can look!!

This looks so much like Pottery Barn. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThe room is beautiful, teen gorgeous. It really does look like a PB Teen catalog page. Your daughter must be thrilled, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteI tried to comment on this a bit ago- but it didn't work- so I am back to tell you this room is lovely! It really came out beautiful and you did a great job making it look PB! Coming over from Vanessa's-nice to meet you! (my sister's name is Taylor btw! ) :)

Looks really great! I'm in the process of redoing my daughter Hannah's room right now. I've been spray painting and painting for 3 days now and there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. It's amazing what you can do yourself when you're thrifty... ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou did an awesome job on your daughter's room! I just posted about my son's room. It's a lot of work isn't it? But so worth it!
ReplyDeletewhat a great teen bedroom well done!
ReplyDeleteThe room came out great!! Im glad that you admitted that it isn't always clean. Sigh!! I can relate. Of course my daughter will say I'm messy too. double sigh!!

ReplyDeleteGreat work! Everything looks fun and fresh. The chair makeover is my absolute favourite!
ReplyDeleteTo be completely honest, this room is even better than a Pottery Barn room. It has that same vibrant appeal as PB, but your daughter's is unique and one of a kind. Something you can't get out of a magazine. I'm sure she loves it!
ReplyDeleteGreat job....
Take care,
Lisa
