Hey there! Is anyone besides me ready for the kiddos to go back to school? Talk about cabin fever! We have about 5 inches of snow on the ground and it's freezing. The kids have done some sledding and played in the snow but it doesn't take long before they come in to warm up and I hear the dreaded . . . "I'm bored".
I've been working on a blog planner for 2013 and am so excited to share it with you.
I found the FREE printable and instructions at the Mama Jenn blog. You have to go check out her blog and all the free printables she has available.
I've been looking for something to organize all my ideas and plan upcoming posts.
What I love about this is that I could customize it to meet my needs. The back cover is a file folder (from Target) that I cut to size. I laminated the front and back covers for durability.
On the inside of the back cover I made a pocket for receipts and loose papers.
I also like how I could print only the pages that I wanted and arrange the planner in a way that worked for me.
For each month there is a full calendar along with a page for writing down post ideas and a to-do list.
The spiral binding is from Staples and was only $4!
Of course you could use a 3-ring binder instead but I liked the look of the binding. Makes me feel all important and professional. ha!
This is my 2013 Calendar/Planner. I keep track of all our family appointments, school activities, etc. in here.
Don't you just love those binder clips? The calendar and clips are from Target.
Now that I have my blog planner and calendar ready to go I should start planning something!

ReplyDeleteI love this idea. I have had a blog for some time now, but I have not really blogged consistently. This would be a great way to keep track of ideas as I get better at blogging. My goal for 2013 is to write on my blog a bit each day. So far I have been writing each day since the 1st except for today. I love reading your posts, you have some great ideas and a beautiful home.

ReplyDeleteAh, this is something I have been meaning to do for some time, and you've given me the inspiration to get on with it! I got two wall calenders as Christmas gifts and will use one of them as a blog planner. Maybe if it's on the wall, it'll be more motivating, right?!
